Upon returning to northwest Ohio, she worked for six years at the Children’s Resource Center in Bowling Green as an outpatient therapist and crisis interventionist. While Emily’s practice predominantly focuses on children and adolescents, she also enjoys working with young adults. She strongly values working alongside parents and caregivers so they can feel empowered to effectively contribute to their children’s therapy process. Emily’s therapeutic style is active, collaborative, and directive. She primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral and family systems approaches to treatment. While Emily has experience with a wide variety of clinical concerns, her clinical interests include anxiety, family conflict, parenting concerns, relationship difficulties, depression, trauma, grief and loss, communication, social skills, and coping with stressful life changes. Emily enjoys singing, cooking, reading, watching documentaries, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
